Mehndi: nothing that fights the henna
Your hands are the photograph on mehndi day. A nude, a soft pink or a clean French sits behind the henna instead of competing with it. Save the chrome for later.
Haldi and sangeet: the fun one
This is where a bold set earns its place. Glitter, foil, a deep red. You are dancing, so go medium length rather than long unless you are used to it.
The phera: match the jewellery, not the outfit
Gold jewellery wants warm tones. Silver and diamonds want cooler ones. This matters more in photographs than the lehenga colour does.
What to carry
One bottle of glue and two spare tips in the clutch. If a nail lifts mid-function, it is a thirty-second fix in the bathroom rather than a ruined set of photographs.
Order early, and get sized properly
Bridal sets are made to order and we size them over WhatsApp before we start. Give us two weeks if you can. If you cannot, message us anyway, because we can usually make it work.
